Golf, coaching, places and people
Damian is there throughout the experience, not simply for a lesson or a session on the range. Guests have the opportunity to experience some of the drills, practice routines and principles he used when coaching leading Tour professionals, adapted to their own game.
The coaching then continues naturally onto the golf course, with Damian helping guests think about course management, decision-making and how to apply what they have worked on when it matters. It is a chance to experience elements of how Tour professionals prepare, practise and think their way around a golf course - whatever your own level of golf.
How much you take from it is entirely up to you. TGE is not an intensive golf school: you can get fully involved in the coaching or simply enjoy the golf, the destination and the wider experience.
Groups are deliberately small, creating the time for individual attention while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and inclusive. TGE golf tuition holidays are equally suited to solo golfers, friends and couples, or as part of your own private group.
Meet Damian Taylor
Damian is a PGA Professional and former European Tour coach who has worked with some of golf's leading players.
His years travelling on Tour gave him first-hand experience not only of how elite golfers prepare, practise and play, but also of golf destinations, courses and what makes time away genuinely enjoyable.
Taylored Golf Experiences grew naturally from that experience. Rather than becoming another golf travel operator, Damian wanted to create something smaller, more personal and more considered, combining excellent golf with the kind of access and coaching insight that would otherwise be difficult for the everyday golfer to experience.
Monte Rei, Algarve
Monte Rei in Portugal is TGE's flagship destination and the setting for a choice of small-group golf coaching experiences.
Damian's role as an Ambassador with Monte Rei provides preferential arrangements and additional inclusions for TGE guests, including double rooms for single occupancy and access to facilities and arrangements that would otherwise need to be organised separately.
Guests arrange their own travel to each destination. For overseas experiences, airport transfers are included, with local transport arrangements tailored to each trip. From arrival, the details are taken care of so you can concentrate on enjoying the experience.
But the most important part is not something you can simply add to an online booking: Damian himself.
For three or four days, guests have access to his coaching, his knowledge of Monte Rei and the approach he developed working with Tour professionals, adapted to their own game.

No. TGE experiences are open to golfers of different abilities. What matters much more is that you enjoy your golf, value good places and food, and enjoy spending time with like-minded people.
Absolutely. Guests regularly join a TGE experience on their own and quickly become part of the group.
Groups are deliberately kept small so Damian can spend meaningful time with each golfer and the experience remains personal.
As much or as little as you want. Coaching can include time on the range and continues naturally onto the golf course, but TGE is not an intensive golf school.
